British Standards are not usually at the top of the holiday reading list, but BS7000/2: Managing the design of manufactured products is actually a very useful document for anyone seriously involved in product design and development. Some of it, however, is rather hard going.
So, we’ve prepared a summary of the most important parts for Senior Managers and Designers, and published it as Briefing Paper 8.
