Design for manufacture

When Codelocks wanted to ensure that the design of their new door lock would be suitable for manufacture, they approached Crucible. We helped the Newbury based firm design the die cast product, and supplied all the production data.

The 4000 series was an instant success. The company has so far made over 200,000 and it continues to be one of the best selling products in the Codelocks range.
